THANK YOU/1 MONTH LEFT

THANK YOU all so much for your loving letters and prayers for my companion and I. This week has been filled with ups and downs. My companion is doing great! She is laughing and keeping high spirits. She is amazing and has a firm testimony of Gods plan for us and we have been sharing that plan with as many people as we can this week and testifying of His genuine love for us. There has been a special spirit with us all this week and I know its thanks to your special prayers and our dedication! Thank you for all you guys do to support me!

LAST TRANSFER, LAST COMPANION

Hola familia!! 

Wow I have officially started my last transfer as a missionary! I had a great week full of hard hard hard work and being able to see lots of success! One of our investigators came to the church this week for the first time! YAY! Nothing better than that feeling! My companion Hermana Soares and I feel like we have been together for months.. or even our whole lives. We have had non stop laughs since we met on Tuesday. I LOVE HER SO MUCH! 

Yesterday we got a visit from my mission president and his wife at our house telling us that my companions father had just passed away. These last few hours have been really hard for her as we watched his funeral and burial this morning. I have had little time to reflect and analyze but as I have. I have realized that our time her in probation on earth is so precious. We cannot wait one second. Don't think twice about doing something good and showing people love, the true love of our Savior! I also am so grateful for the plan of salvation and the understanding I personally have of it. I have had two companions now in the mission field who have lost loved ones and I have seen how one of them had such power in her testimony and kept going, and the other that struggled and let satan take advantage of these hard moments. I KNOW THAT OUR REDEEMER LIVES, AND LOVES US!! If you don't have a testimony I challenge you to read, ponder, pray, and exercise your faith to gain one! I feel extremely blessed to be part of such a wonderful plan and understand such wonderful doctrine and live in such wonderful time such as these where the fullness of the gospel exists!

LAST TRANSFER/6 WEEKS LEFT

No letter this week. Sorry she was busy talking to me the whole time.(we were working on details for schooling etc.) She will write next week and let us know about her last new companion (from Brasil) that she will have before coming home. She will be staying in the same location in the capital though.

Haha I love my district so much I am honestly so sad like so so so sad that half of them are leaving.

They are my family!!! Each one of them! 

HARD WORK AND FAITH

Happy week to everyone!!! 

Wow what a week!!! I'm gonna be honest these last weeks have not been the easiest for my companion and I. We have been working really hard and struggling to see the fruits of our labors, but with all the hope and confidence in the world we keep on pressing forward and finally this week we were able to see tons of miracles.

These last weeks we were contacting and found a house that had tons of catholic paintings and things on it. My comp and I just look at each other and obviously decide to contact it not knowing what was going to happen next. A lady walks to the door and tells us she doesn't have any time but that we can come back the next week. Next week we stop by, share a Christmas video with her and she tells us it was "really nice" and to come back, after the holidays. Well, still having high hopes we returned this last week, taught her a few lessons and invited her to church. We both felt the spirit but it was nothing spectacular! Then this Sunday sitting in sacrament meeting, waiting for it to start, with not one of our investigators there... Seidi and her daughter walk in all dressed up and smiles on their faces! WOW. there is nothing like watching someone act in faith and use their agency for the better! It filled me! :)))  

I love this gospel and the tender mercies of the Lord!!! He is amazing, and He lives!! :))

NEWWW YEARS!!!!

Wow I cannot think of a better way to be able to start the new year than with the opportunity to partake of the sacrament! I really did enjoy the peace of the sacrament meeting and thinking about all that had been accomplished in this past year and the new goals and dreams I have for the year to come!! 

With the new year we always have tons of ideas and goals, but we all know that with a new year comes new challenges as well. I know that through taking the sacrament weekly we can literally partake in the peace of our Savior! And no matter what things come to pass in this year we can be at peace!!! 

I hope you all make new goals with an eternal perspective, and I testify that if you guys work with diligence and patience to achieve them they will have an eternal effect!! :))
